Cilantro, also known as fresh coriander, is a green, leafy herb from the same family as parsley, carrots, and celery. It has a pronounced flavor profile and is fragrant with peppery and citrus notes. The leaves are delicate and used in many Latin, Indian, and Asian dishes. Cilantro is packed with vitamins A, C, and K can be found packed in cilantro, and its bold flavor profile can encourage people to use less salt.

Our cilantro is harvested straight from the fields year-round. Our organic product is harvested for 15ct and 30ct packs. Our conventional cilantro is offered in a 30ct and 60ct. We, and our family of growers, ensure quality and safe products when choosing our Pure Pacific Organic and Pacific cilantro.

Choose cilantro that is fresh and vibrant in color. Avoid bunches with leaves that are yellowing, showing dark, slimy parts, or are speckled in color.

storage

To store cilantro, place the root ends in a jar of water, then place in the refrigerator where it should keep for about two weeks. Snip or pick off leaves as needed and refresh water every couple of days.

preparing

Rinse cilantro by submerging it in water and swishing around gently. Pat dry with a paper towel to get rid of any excess water. Decide how much of the stems you want to keep and chop off the rest to discard. Fold the cilantro leaves in half and use a rocking motion to chop through - go back through to make sure it’s all chopped.
