RADISH

our conventional radishes

Radish is an edible root vegetable that often has a bright pink/red color. The flavor is crisp and spicy offering a unique element to any dish or snack. While typically discarded, the radish tops are also edible. We supply our radishes to retail and club store customers, where you can find it in the produce department of your favorite grocery store.

our growing program

We grow our radishes year-round in several growing regions. We harvest 24ct and 48ct bunch packs, as well as offer an 8oz bag. Choosing Pacific radishes means you’re getting a high-quality vegetable straight from the fields.

When choosing a bunch of radishes, first check the tops to make sure the leaves are green in color and not wilting. The roots should be bright in color and free from cracks. Choose radishes that are firm to the touch.

storing

Remove the tops (greens) about half an inch above the roots, and store them separately if you choose to consume. The tops will stay fresh for a few days, while the roots will stay fresh for about a week.

prepping

Rinse the radishes under cold water and be sure to scrub the skin slightly. If you choose to prepare the greens, they can be chopped. The roots can sliced, diced, quartered, or chopped depending on the recipe.
